Boutique Bodyworks offers a variety of services in a boutique/concierge style with tailored one on one care and guidance from Dr. Alina Kulczycki. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy, PT, DPT. and I have been practicing PT for over 20 years with additional certifications in Dry Needling, Classical Pilates (Peak Pilates), Barre and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention via the Tai Chi for Health Institute. My passion for holistic health and wellness led me to pursue a certification and title of Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner through the prestigious Medical Board of American Lifestyle Medicine in 2021 (DipABLM Licensed American Board Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner). I also hold an Honors Science degree in Human Nutrition counseling and Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology (The science of human movement) and provide strength coaching and personal training services.  I ACCEPT MEDICARE, otherwise this is a cashed based practice.

 
 

The new law enables Texas patients to see your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) without orders from your medical doctor. Get relief for your issues as early as you like, patients can go directly to a physical therapist for evaluation and treatment without a physician’s referral as of Sept. 1, 2019.

  • Note: If Medicare is to cover services referral is needed from Medical Doctor, Chiropractor or Nurse Practitioner.

Movement

Movement has a profound impact on your physiology and chemistry and can help prevent and reverse chronic disease. Not all movement is equal and some types of activity can age you faster and cause more wear and tear and tax your nervous system rather than reinvigorate. My approach is simple, takes little time or expense and we work with activities you enjoy and are motivated to do in a way that fits into your lifestyle.

Human beings are wire to be social creatures. Regardless of individual preference or need for alone time we all need to feel love and connection on a regular basis and evidence has long demonstrated that when we experience positive social connection our mental, emotional and thereby physical health improve. The reverse is also true and creating boundaries and learning how to constructively navigate where negative social experiences are lived is just as necessary as cultivating positive social experiences and relationships. There are many tools to help.

sTRESS Management

Stress has been found to have not only immediate impact on our nervous systems but when experienced chronically cause changes in our chemistry contributing to chronic disease including cancer and autoimmune disease for starters, but also change the wiring of our nervous system and brain causing heightened sensitivity to all stimuli making non painful stimuli painful. Chronic stress is no joke and finding positive ways to cope is essential since stress is inevitable. How we respond is a choice, learn how to choose wisely.

What we choose to put into our bodies includes substances that have historically been learned as fun for enjoyment and being social with others including alcohol, tobacco products and recreational drugs. However these substances are well known to not only shorten our lives, increase risk to injury and death, but also reduce our ability function not only in the moment but in later years robbing us of our ability to live and function optimally, freely and independently. About Dr. Alina Kulczycki

I have studied and kept up to date in the health and wellness field since my late teens beginning with my university career completing three degrees and on wards via certifications including Lifestyle Medicine in 2021. However one could argue my education began much earlier having been raised by conscientious parents who taught me since early childhood to prepare and eat plant based from real whole foods where processed foods rarely entered our home. Additionally we learned and practiced Yoga, Tai Chi and meditation, family hikes in local wilderness areas on Sundays and were encouraged to be creative, make things and care about community and where things come from.
