๐ฑ Chia seeds are naturally rich in protein, omega 3 fatty acids, fiber and antioxidants just to name a few if many things it provides us. ๐ช
In this video I talk about its nutrient content, why it’s good for us, while demonstrating how to make a really easy breakfast that is high in protein (28g) and didn’t require any processed foods other than almond milk, but the brand I use has only 3 ingredients (water, almonds and Himalayan salt). I use pure vanilla extract and Ceylon cinnamon for flavour and anti inflammatory properties along with a cup of berries (you can use fresh or frozen) Rich in nuts and seeds this packs 28g of protein and all from plants, no highly processed full of chemicals protein powders required.

๐ฎ๐จ Stanford Medical explains the stress-pain connection like so: “Stress can make chronic pain worse. Stress causes your muscles to tense or spasm, which increases pain. When you feel stressed, levels of the hormone cortisol rise. This can cause inflammation and pain over time.”
As a physical therapist I treat many people with physical pain that have a chronic stress connection. Stress is inevitable but how we manage, cope, respond to stress over time can ease or worsen pain along with contribute to inflammation and disease if not managed well over time.
